About Our Services

AustralianTranslationServices is a leading translation service provider based in Australia. With a network of over 500 accredited translators, we have been bridging language gaps for businesses, government bodies, and individuals since our founding in 2015. Learn more about us!
We provide specialised translation services across all industries, including but not limited to government, engineering, medical, legal, technical, financial, and marketing. Our translators are selected not only for their linguistic skills but also for their professional experience in these specific fields, ensuring accuracy and correct use of technical terminology.
We handle translation projects of all sizes and complexities. Our services are generally split into two categories: 1. NAATI-Certified Translations: For official use in Australia, we translate documents such as birth certificates, academic transcripts, legal contracts, and marriage licenses for immigration or legal purposes. 2. General & Business Translations: We also provide expert translations for projects that do not require NAATI certification. This includes documents, such as financial reports, books, marketing materials, websites, and even video games. Essentially, no matter the document type, we have a qualified translator for the job. You can see examples of our diverse work on our Samples page.
No, there's no need to visit us in person. Our entire service is designed for your convenience and can be completed online. You can upload your documents through our website securely to obtain a free, non-binding quote and receive the final translation electronically.
Yes, all of our official translations are accompanied by a Statement of Accuracy. This certification confirms that the translation is precise, accurate, and true to the best of our translator's ability and knowledge, and it includes the translator's credentials and our company details.
We can absolutely work from high-quality scans or clear photographs of your documents. There is no need to send us your original hard copies. Please ensure the entire document is visible and legible in the file you send us.
Yes, we have dedicated project managers and teams capable of handling large-volume and ongoing projects for corporate and legal clients. We ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery, even for the most demanding requests.
Of course, we also offer a range of other language translation services, including interpreting (both on-site and remote), subtitling, and transcription. Please get in touch with us with your specific requirements.

About Our Services

NAATI Certification

A NAATI-certified translation is a translation performed by a translator who is accredited or recognised by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). This is the official standard for translations required by Australian government departments and other official bodies.
Yes, all of our translators for official documents are accredited by NAATI. We guarantee that any translation intended for official use in Australia will be completed by a translator holding the appropriate NAATI certification.
Every NAATI-certified translation we provide includes the translator's NAATI ID, their signature, and an official NAATI stamp on the document. This enables any authority to verify the translator's credentials.
Not necessarily. While a NAATI-certified translation is essential for official purposes, such as visa applications, university enrollment, or legal proceedings, it may not be required for personal use or internal business communications. We can advise you on the best option for your needs.
Government departments, universities, and legal systems in Australia require NAATI-certified translations to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. This certification guarantees that the translation is an authentic and reliable representation of the original document.
Yes, a translation completed by a NAATI-certified translator is recognised and accepted by all levels of government and official institutions throughout Australia, including the Department of Home Affairs.
A NAATI-certified translator has passed a rigorous certification exam, demonstrating their high level of competence. A NAATI-recognised translator typically qualifies as a NAATI-approved course. For official purposes in Australia, NAATI certification is the higher and more widely required standard.
Yes! We offer NAATI-certified translations. To get a certified translation, you need to choose the NAATI certification during order placement.
If a certified translation is rejected because of an error in our translation or certification, we correct it free of charge — and if we can't get it accepted, we refund you in full. Our certified translations are widely accepted. However, we cannot guarantee acceptance because acceptance depends on multiple factors beyond accurate and certified translations.
NAATI does not certify documents — it certifies translators. We work with a large network of NAATI-certified translators who will translate your documents.

Standard documents of 1-3 pages are typically completed within two business days. However, the exact delivery date and timeline vary depending on the language, complexity, and the length of the document.
Yes, we offer express and urgent translation services. If you have a tight deadline, please specify this when you request a quote so we can prioritise your project. We can often provide same-day service for an additional fee.
You will receive a high-quality, NAATI-certified digital copy (PDF) via email as standard. We can also post physical hard copies to any address in Australia or overseas. Additional postage and handling charges will apply. To get an exact quotation, contact our support team.
We have a strict quality assurance process, but in the unlikely event that you find an error, we will rectify it immediately and at no additional charge. Your satisfaction and the accuracy of our work are our top priorities.
At AustralianTranslationServices, our standard turnaround is 72 hours (AEST), priced at AU$60 per page; express is 24 hours (AEST), priced at AU$90 per page; and urgent is 12 hours (AEST), priced at AU$120 per page. This turnaround is only applicable for standard document translations such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates, and driver's licences. Timeframes can extend if uploaded documents are unclear or incomplete, an incorrect language pair has been selected, the page or word count doesn't match the documents provided, or we need further information from you.
If we miss a delivery deadline for reasons within our control, we refund the premium you paid for the faster turnaround. Some exclusions apply — see our refund, cancellation and money-back policy.
Your turnaround time starts at checkout, once your order and payment are confirmed. The estimate shown at checkout is the one that applies. Timeframes can extend if uploaded documents are unclear or incomplete, an incorrect language pair has been selected, the page or word count doesn't match the documents provided, or we need further information from you.
Yes! From order confirmation and in-progress updates through to delivery notification, your dedicated project coordinator will keep you informed.
When placing an order, you will find the option of choosing the source and target languages. Furthermore, our team will confirm the language pair before starting the work.
Before starting any translation work, our support team shares a confirmation email with all the information you provided. If you spot an error in that confirmation email before work begins, tell us, and we'll correct the order and refund any overpayment. Once translation has started, refunds are assessed under our refund policy.
We offer two delivery options. The first is digital delivery, where we send the soft copy by email. The second is hard-copy delivery, where we post the document to any Australian address you provide. The postage price is AU$20 for regular and AU$30 for express post, within Australia only (Regular Post 4–5 days, Express Post 2 days). International shipping is quoted separately.
About Our Services

Pricing and Payments

We accept multiple secure payment methods, including all major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and direct bank transfers.
The minimum charge for translation service is AUD 60. This depends on the language, translation type, number of documents, and delivery date. For instance, a customer orders a one-page translation from Arabic to English to be delivered digitally within 72 hours for a total cost of AU$60.00.
Absolutely. We value long-term relationships and are happy to offer discounted rates for high-volume translation projects or our repeat corporate clients. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Our quotes are transparent and all-inclusive for a certified digital translation. The only potential extra fees would be for optional services you request, such as hard copy postage or urgent delivery, which will be clearly outlined for your approval.
We are committed to delivering high-quality translations. If you are not satisfied, we will first work with you to amend the document to your satisfaction. If a resolution cannot be reached, we will assess the situation to determine if a partial or full refund is warranted, in accordance with our terms of service.
Our pricing is generally based on the number of pages or the word count of the source document. The final cost also takes into account the language pair, the complexity of the content (e.g., technical vs. general), and the required turnaround time.
Payment confirms your order and releases it to a translator — this is also when your turnaround time starts counting. Orders are usually assigned to a translator within minutes. Since translators spend hours researching and translating documents, upfront payment ensures they get paid for their work.
Each quote includes human translation, certification of the type you select, basic formatting, proofreading by a second linguist, and free revisions within the policy timeframes. Postage and international shipping are additional.
Certification is included in the quoted price. Faster turnaround options are priced separately at checkout.
Yes, we offer a complete, free, and non-binding quotation upfront. You can get a quotation by filling out the form on our order page. To get a quotation, you will need to share the volume of work, language pair, deadline, delivery format, and certification type.
Your translation quote depends on the certification type, language pair, volume of work, scope of work, delivery deadline, and delivery format type. We provide an upfront quote. Additional costs can apply only where the scope changes — for example, extra pages beyond those ordered, handwritten documents, edits requested after you've approved the translation, or international postage. We confirm any additional cost with you before proceeding.

Languages and Expertise

We translate and interpret in over 150 languages. Whether you need a common language like Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic, or a less widely spoken one, our extensive network of translators can almost certainly assist you.

We carefully match each project with a translator who has the relevant subject matter expertise. If you are a certified translator interested in joining our professional team, you can learn more about our opportunities on our Careers page.
We have a strict quality assurance process that includes translation by a NAATI-accredited professional, followed by proofreading from a second linguist to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and consistency. But don't just take our word for it—see what our clients have to say on our Reviews page.
Yes, we do. If you have a document that has already been translated and you need a NAATI-certified translator to review, edit, and certify it, we can provide this service.
Yes. Our team is skilled at working with complex layouts. We strive to maintain the original formatting of your document, including tables, charts, and other visual elements, as closely as possible in the final translated version.

Yes, we can handle documents containing more than one language because we have translators in our network catering to 150+ languages. As per our process, you need to choose the language pair as one foreign language to English, then to another foreign language. For instance, to get documents translated from Chinese to French, you need to choose Chinese to English, then English to French. So, for documents having two or more languages, we assign translators accordingly. Dual-language pricing reflects this two-step process and depends on translator availability for both languages — contact our 24/7 live chat for an accurate quote.
Yes, we translate all types of documents, including technical, product, or marketing content. To place a request, please send us your requirements, and we will arrange a free consultation and then send you a complete quotation.

Assurance & Revisions

Quality Assurance & Revisions

Before delivery, for standard documents, we may share a draft with you to ensure the spellings of names and places are accurate. For larger projects, we have a dedicated quality assurance team where a second qualified translator reviews the work and a senior QA team member performs a final check before delivery.
Tell us, and we'll correct it free of charge — you have 3 days from the draft and a further 15 days after final delivery to request revisions. You can refer to our correction policy and timeframe in our refund and cancellation policy page.
Yes. We reconcile your uploaded files against your order before translation begins. If your upload contains more pages than you've ordered, we translate the pages covered by your order and email you about the difference. We only proceed with extra pages once you confirm in writing. For larger projects, our team will share the quotation as per your needs and check the itemised delivery against submitted files to ensure nothing is missing.
We will offer free revisions. Depending on the issue, we’ll correct the translation, re-translate it at no cost, or issue a refund. Where a failure is major under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose between a refund and a resupply.
Your document will be translated by a certified translator or a native language translator holding subject knowledge. We also have a proper QA process to ensure maximum accuracy, where we share the draft with you and assign a senior translator to check the translation.
